BSS Test Manager
Main Responsibilities:

Formulate the application deployment, function test, and others sub-plan according to the project delivery master plan, and should be responsible for the feasibility of the plan:
- Understand the business requirements.
- Agreement and Customer sign-off of the test scope.
- Test plan and schedule.
- Resource requirement determination.
- Test execution coordination and reporting.
- Lead defect management and respective HQ alignment.
- Monitor test performance.
- Determines respective resource requirements and works with Project Manager to assign required resources.
- Plans, coordinates and manages the execution of tests and the capture of test results.
- Coordinates and reports on all testing activities in alignment with Customer QA Lead.
- Leads the analysis of test results, the defect management and resolution process with PM and HQ.
- Record and apply metrics to monitor performance and measure key testing criteria.
- Conduct test reviews documenting conformance to test plan.
Interfaces:
Works with the Customer†s QA Team Lead
Knowledge/Experience/Skills
1. Knowledge
- Very strong proven BSS/OSS Enterprise Software test management background.
2. Experience
Minimum of 8 years†experience in similar role with a focus in the following areas:
- In specific solutions: BSS/OSS systems
- in International onshore/offshore team management
- of specific tools like HPQC, Test Director or similar
3. Skills & Competences
- Interacts with the project team (especially Solution Architects) to gain an understanding of the business requirements, technical context and conformance criteria.
- Analyze requirements for testability
- Agrees and signs-off test scope for the assigned Project/Project Phase with the Customer including test strategy, test objects, test headers and test cases.
- Plans testing activities and schedule with the Project Manager (PM) and Customer QA Lead. Output: signed-off test plan.
- English fluency both verbal and writing is essential
- Works effectively in situations involving uncertainty, change, or lack of information.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Good customer management skills
- Self-starter with ability and ambition to work remotely, onsite with a specific customer for extended or dedicated periods of time.
- Ability to work across groups by setting mutual goals, ensuring clarity of roles, and working together in ways which enhance business effectiveness
- Able to work on a multi-cultural environment
