For our client located in Dusseldorf we are currently looking for a Supply Chain Consultant for a long term project.
Start: 1.3.2017
End: 31.1.2018
Location: Düsseldorf, Germany
Remote: 1-2 days per week possible
Travel: in some project phases trips to the USA possible
Project background:
The client is looking for external support in his comprehensive business transformation program facilitating the implementation of a globally aligned and harmonized Supply Chain including Purchasing. For the first time, there will be end-to-end, standardized supply chain process. Being part of the Strategy, this program is a key initiative for the scalable business model. The project organization with lean and simplified operations aims to enhance the client's competitiveness by leveraging on the client's combined potential, boosting process efficiency.
The project will be implemented in clearly determined, overlapping phases clustering a defined number of countries. Each implementation phase lasting over a period of 12-18 months.
Tasks:
The external consultant advises in the area of Manufacturing/Warehousing/Quality Management of the project phase 5 and the SUN process and system integration.
He/she provides process as well as technical SAP expertise and offers consulting within project phase 5:
- Consults Laundry business work streams on Master Data validation and Master Data mapping for Manufacturing relevant Master Data Objects
- Consults Laundry on how they can implement and apply the technical provided processes to cover specific business and country requirements by supporting the A and D phase to define possible gaps during SAP implementation, including the Transfer of the result and aligning with project team the next steps
- SAP Authorization preparation for Local and global needs
- Consult in Key User Trainings
Development and/or updating of training material
Planning and execution of trainings for the key-users with the new SAP processes
Prepare Key Users for User Acceptance Test
Prepare Key Users for Cutover
- User Acceptance Test
Consulting in test case generation
Consult local key users and end users during testing activities
Consult in finding suitable technical solutions in case of test issues and coordinate ticket resolution process with local organizations and IBS
Coordinate and consult in escalation cases
- Cutover and Go-Live
Consult local key users in preparing and executing all cutover relevant activities
Steering and advising the key users (partially onsite) during and after going-live with the new processes and system
- Hyper Care
Advising local key users in escalating issues during hypercare
Coordinates post go-live trainings and Q+A sessions
Check problem reports written during hyper care and advise how to solve problems and how to find proper technical solutions
Skills:
- very good experience with Data Mapping and Business Process Mapping
