Test Manager/Defect Manager | 6 Month Rolling | MS Office, Doors
Square One are on the lookout for an experienced Defect Manager for a 6 Month rolling contract with one of our major clients based out of Berlin.
Job Description:
- The resource should support the testing teams and the line management of VS regarding different tasks
- Frequent maintenance of VS resource lists for external and internal staff
- Support of Verification services teams by preparation of KPIs (incl. frequently updates)
- Coordination of external invitations for bid (1st contact for inquiries)
- Support of test schedule preparation and frequent preparation of test status documents
- TPR (Test Problem Report) translation/consolidation in databases and follow up of status regarding cases verification of the test possible re-test planning
- Update of test specifications and/or procedures; translation of test documents into German/English language
- Support infrastructure planning (eg tracks, vehicles) for all projects handled
- Support budget tracking for work packages to be executed
- Support cross project planning of testing activities
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Good experience with MS Office
- Good experience with DOORS
- Planning experience and experience with MS Project and Primavera
- Basic testing knowledge (eg ISTQB CTFL)
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
- Engagement, team working, results oriented and skills in problems solving
- Good presentation and communication skills especially to simplify complex issues
- Good skills for working with internal teams as well as intercultural skills
- Systematic, analytical and flexible mindset
- High pressure tolerance
- Problem solving capacity
