Position Description:The Product Cost Controller also ensure that BOM (Bill of Material) used for the calculation variants are aligned with the engineering structure and updated according to latest purchasing information.
Responsibilities and tasks
> Ensure that all relevant cost items from estimates and contracts are accurate and in line with the
progress of the sourcing process
> Safeguard that the cost forecast reported is in line with the progress of the product change management process
> Update and assure the quality of the product cost information database (material cost, vendor
tooling and Design & Development costs)
> Plan and execute cost related activities together with Vice President/PSS responsible for functional areas
> Support line management in the sourcing activities and with business case analysis
> Report cost forecasts to concerned groups
> Report problems and participate in improvement work on present and future procedures, processes and systems
> Represent finance in various investigations and groups
Requirements:
1-2 years of controlling experience, preferably from automotive industry
Software and IT: Microsoft Office applications. Experience from Product Cost systems & Product
Structure (KDP, KOLA, Teamcenter) considered an advantage
