We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to join their business in Germany.

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert level advice and consultancy to Project Teams in the field of site design
- Ensure that site designs, construction and electrical standards and specifications are agreed with the customer prior to the start of the project
- Understand local conditions and tailor site designs to best match the local environment
- Guarantee minimal design to provide value engineered designs
- Review site specific designs as produced by the Design Consultancy and make recommendations to manage cost and simplify construction
- Provide hands on training for staff who will be attending Technical Site Surveys (TSS), reviewing drawings and approving designs
- Review and approve alternative materials proposed by suppliers and customers
- Assist the Design Consultancy to produce non standard solutions as required
- Ensure the site designs are in line with customer's’ requirement and standard of the operation and maintenance
- Ensure that site designs are compliant with local Health and Safety requirements


Qualifications?:
- A qualified engineer with a minimum Bachelor degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- A minimum 10 years experience in site design of the telecoms industry, gained working for a
- Design Consultancy, Equipment Vendor or Operator
- Rollout Project Experience
- Proficient in survey tools such as AUTOCAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Familiar with the industrial standard of the steel structure in the telecoms industry such like DIN (Deutsche Industrie Normen) = (German Industry Standard) and ENS (Europaeische Norms) = (Europe Standard)
- An excellent understanding of towers, mon-pole and all antenna support structures
- An in depth understanding of value engineering and the principles of cost effective designs
- Experience of ensuring quality through design and designing within Health and Safety guidelines
- Good negotiation skills to be able to influence the decision of discussions with customers and suppliers
- A good communicator, fluent in German and English.
- Experience working in multi cultural teams
- Have the locally accredited structure engineer license will be preferred.
