SAP IS/U specialist (m/f)On behalf of one of our clients in Essen, we have been asked to find 2 SAP IS/U specialist, 1 with the focus of SAP IS/U schedules (application jobs) and 1 specialist with the focus of system schedules (infra jobs).
Duties and responsibilities:
You main assignment would be with tasks of job scheduling operations, on the basis of products of Automic Software (UC4), in the area of our client’s Infrastructure Operations (Datacenter).
You will be part of a team of specialists and use ITIL Request, Change, Configuration, Release & Deployment, Incident, Problem and Knowledge Management processes based on ServiceNow to fulfill your tasks.
Your task:
As an administrator of the job scheduling operations you will be responsible for:
- Creation, modification and test of job scheduling objects (jobs, workflows etc.)
- Identification and modification of dependencies and solving of conflicts between job scheduling objects
- Continuous monitoring of jobs and workflows
- Resolution of abnormal ended jobs and workflows
- Support of application scheduling of SAP IS-U ( 2 x FTE)
- Support of infrastructure scheduling for start/stop, backup/restore of servers, databases , SAP systems etc. (2 x FTE)
What we expect
Many years experience and a good knowledge of the product UC4 Automation Engine of Automic Software.
In addition, you have a good knowledge in the areas of:
SAP IS-U (billing & invoicing, FI/CO, CRM etc.) architecture and workflows.
Languages English in written and spoken
German is desirable
Location: Essen, Germany
Project Duration: ASAP to March 2017 (with the option to extend).
