Project Manager - Service Management and Service Delivery - Germany based

The position is with our large global end user company. This experienced Project Manager is responsible for the overall management and delivery of one (or more) IT Capability Initiatives/Launch within the Global IT Transformation Programme and would run the Service Management for the company in Germany. Experience of working within Global or Pan-National programmes as the Service Delivery Manager or a Lead Service Transition Consultant. You will face off against the Managed Service Provider who have been engaged to run the Business Transformation for our client. The role of the Project Manager is to manage the day to day operations of the projects. This means ensuring it has the direction, capability and resources to realise its outcomes, with the ultimate goal of delivering the project within agreed timelines, scope and budget, to ensure the benefits are delivered. Ability to multitask and to prioritise workload under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment - must escalate appropriate issues to management in a timely fashion. Ability to work in a Matrix organisational structure and manage multiple stakeholders in a global organisation. Ability to work with staff at all levels. Ability to advise and drive desired outcomes with senior programme board

Ideally the candidate should already be German based, but will also consider a person with fluent German speaking skills.

Duration: 6 months (plus possible extentions)
