Currently we are looking for a Senior IT architect (m/f) with proven expertise in Energy management and monitoring systems.The project aims to review and consolidate the existing solutions (i.e. platforms and applications) and develop a best-in-class offering for our customers.
The objectives of the project are to:
1) Perform a short-term diagnostic of selected existing IT platforms and applications based on pre-defined criteria. This diagnostic should provide a comprehensive comparison of the following platforms:
• Energy Efficiency Platform
• Navigator Platform
• CMO Digital platform
And the following applications:
• Smart View 2
• Navigator
The diagnostic should compromise several criteria:
• Modularity of platform / ease of integration of solutions (both internal & 3rd party solutions)
• Ease of integration to customer environment and associated data security
• Sophistication of data analytics
• Availability & ownership of data to the company
• Sophistication of module for process automation
• Intellectual Property and platform ownership (control)
• Flexibility
• Scalability
• Cost of O&M / Total cost of ownership
• Certification of platform, applications & associated processes
• Delivery models (e.g. only SaaS or running in own Data Centre)
• Dependency to SW-supplier (e.g. technical support, programming capacities, own IP)
2) Benchmark the IT platforms and applications against best-in-class solutions in the market and conduct a gap analysis
• Identify market leading energy monitoring solutions including underlying platform and application based on set criteria
• Assess the competitive edge of identified solutions in IT, functionalities, offering and pricing
• Benchmark against in-house platforms and application to identify gaps and overlaps
3) Provide an objective recommendation on the most advanced platform and application at the company
4) Define a roadmap (i.e. time, cost, resources, deliverables) of required enhancements to become market leading
• IT evaluation study with clear recommendation of the best in-house platform and application for the delivery of Energy monitoring solutions
• Benchmarking study of the best in-house platform and application against best in class competitors in the market
• Derive strategic recommendation and solution roadmap to outline activities to be undertaken to become a market leader
Skills:
• Seniority and technical know-how to drive and manage the senior stakeholders with the intention to be perceived as a trusted technical advisor
• Business fluency in English
• Senior IT architect with proven expertise in Energy management and monitoring systems
• Excellent understanding of the Energy Management Systems market including best practices, latest trends & technologies and competitors
• Experience in driving short term technical diagnostic studies based on predefined comprehensive criteria set
• Experience in conducting benchmarks and gap analysis of software solutions
• Ability to derive clear strategic recommendations from technology assessment
• Structured approach with well-defined activities, milestones and deliverables
