Job Title: Contracts Manager (Bi-Lingual German and English speaking)

Type: Contract

Location: Mannheim or Zurich

Duration: 8 months

Rate: €1000 per day

Start: ASAP

Role and Responsibilities:

We are looking for an OSP Contracts Manager to play a key role in the delivery of client Transformation Programmes. You will bring experience of introducing contract management standards, reviewing existing and new commercial agreements across the OSP supply chain.

The programmes we deliver are some of the most complex in Europe and often include whole organisation transformation. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary transformation team with both client side and supply chain capability.

Key Accountabilities

  • Serve as an expert for the planning, budgeting, implementation and evaluation of OSP awards and sub-contractor agreements
  • Ensure contract management standards (eg reporting, procurement, visibility, audit etc.) are understood and applied correctly.
  • Negotiation of renewals and novations to ensure the standardisation of key terms eg limitation of liability, payment terms et.
  • Assess proposals and contract for all OSP services, whilst adhering to governance
  • Reviewing services/processes on your own, as part of a team or leading a workstream (process area)
  • Liaising with business stakeholders in order to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements and processes as part of wider transformation programmes.
  • Quantifying benefits, and seeking out/tackling issues that will prevent the delivery of business benefits

About you

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in customer, partner negotiation and contract management.
  • Experience of commercial management tools and techniques with strong analytical skills.
  • An understanding of the markets, value chains and policy developments
  • Responsibility for managing strategic contracts and supplier performance in accordance with the organisation vision, policies, governance arrangements and values.
  • Advanced stakeholder management skills at a senior or board level, with the ability to challenge the status quo and deliver successful change.
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of projects whilst balancing multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • To work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the strategy is understood and delivered through effective OSP supplier and contract management.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

  • Degree level (2.1) or equivalent qualification
  • Holds a relevant professional body qualification/accreditation
