A global Swiss Bank is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join the Project Management pool based in Zürich and act within the Wealth Management & Swiss Bank Application Delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the objectives of a number of global strategic and cross functional projects. In this role the candidate will be managing IT projects, addressing deliveries of specific sets of business cases and programs,. This includes responsibility for the timely implementation of defined project objectives in line with quality standards and budget. The management of stakeholders in all areas and seniority is as a key success factor as the profound business and IT expertise. The complex IT projects are covering multiple technologies, methodologies with in- and external staff and global partners.
Tasks
• Managing all aspects of an IT project, which includes project planning, execution, timing, quality, cost and early identification of potential issues.
• Work with vendor or offshore development team for project delivery.
• Identify and manage stakeholders and clients, evaluate their interests and establish communication channels and collaboration.
• Functional management of the project team in a matrix organization, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Ensuring compliance with principles and standards.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Project or Program Manager for large scale and high complex projects (approx. > 5 Mio CHF investment) with cross divisional or international project scope, preferably in global companies.
• Profound IT knowledge in financial service institutions.
• Expertise in application development and SW-Development Projects.
• Hands-on experience in multiple project roles is a plus.
• Experience with SDLC / RUP a plus
• Sound financial services knowledge with deep understanding of business end-to-end processes.
• Experience in international organizations.
• PMI PMP certification
• Dedication, agility, drive and commitment
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
