Project DescriptionOur customer, who is using Calypso for risk assessment, is currently looking for one Business Analyst / Business Acceptance Tester (f/m) with very good Calypso know how each project (FX Clearing, Cross Currency Swaps Clearing, MiFID 2 and OTC IRS Clearing) to support the specification / functional acceptance team.
Tasks
- Support the changes necessary to be done in the Calypso System version 14
- Implementation of current regulatory requirements in Calypso
- Adjustment of the requirements for the latest release in Calypso
Responsibilities
- Lead the specification and test phases by delivering new products and state of the art services to members
- In charge of creating product, technical and functional specification and roadmaps
- Identifying dependencies to other functional/technical areas or business processes and mitigating potential risks
- Consultation with the business developments, application development and market participants
- Understanding of both market requirements and technical implications associated with Calypso System extension
- Functional and technical support of the implementation phase and analysis of functional issues
- Support of functional acceptance of new clearing services
Qualifications
- Experience in financial industry as senior business analyst with focus on OTC business and interaction with Central Counterparties
- Deep functional knowledge of OTC derivatives (IRD and FX)
- Calypso V14 experience focus on Clearing module including ERS
- Knowledge in test automation and regression testing
- Sound experience in performance optimisation in a low latency environment
- Long term experience working in an agile, fast moving environment
- Outstanding analytical and communication skill
- Strong understanding of quantitative risk management for financial and non-financial instruments
- Know how in the area or trade processing for OTC derivatives including the interaction with trading platforms
- Know how in the area of post trade processing for derivatives
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, a proficient manner as well as project management experience
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Experience in programming SQL, VBA or XML/FpML would be an asset
