A Swiss Financial Insititute is looking for a Senior Project Manager/ Task Force Manager to take over the lead of a current project for the implementation of a standart software solution in a Compliance field.
Tasks
• Managing project teams and external solution provider: Plan and review progress, review and manage risks, plan stages, activities and resources, manage and steer costs.
• Recovery / Task Force Management: review and assess status and progress of project, support executive sponsor in re-assessing approach, requirements, provider solution approach, risk assessment, evaluate and design of measures and actions to recover project, re-planning incl cost, resources and time line.
• Stakeholder Management: drive alignment process of commitments on concepts and solution approaches.
• Setup and maintain the project, scope and deliverables.
• Reporting to project bodies such as Project Board, Steering Committee, Project Controlling).
Requirements
• 5+ years experience in leading successfully complex and challenging implementation programs/ projects.
• Solid understanding of the Financial industry and its infrastructure, 5+ years in Banking.
• In-depth understanding of project management methodologies, 3+ years of experience with Agile project methods (Scrum).
• Proven track record of Recovery project / task force project management, 5+years.
• Solid understanding of compliance topics, solution provider handling and standard solution implementation.
• A higher education in Business Administration or Finance.
• Knowledge in the areas Payment and e-solution would be an advantage.
Soft Skills
• Fluent in English and German (spoken and written).
• A structured, result-oriented and highly engaged working method combined with a challenger working style attitude.
• High level of proactivity and team-orientation.
• Leadership personality.
• Excellent presentation skills
