Description:
The Sr. Director of Program Management is the Program Leader responsible for the execution of the overall business for the customers he is responsible for including margin. He closely partners with the Sales leaders to ensure the implementation and the sales teams are in synch and manage to the customer's expectations, works with the delivery specialists (PMs) to coordinates all projects in the delivery pipeline for his assigned customers and provides a means for projects to communicate schedule and resource information to each other. He is responsible for the organization-level flow of projects in a portfolio.


Job Description:
• PM will be focused on driving the company’s Mobility delivery organization in the EMEA region -defined strategic initiatives, accelerating technical vitality, and defining/evolving customer offerings based on the product portfolio.
• This person will own the technical project management community of resources to drive enablement and continuous coaching of the project management community as well as own optimization of the execution strategy to drive business efficiency.
• The role will also be responsible for building a team to harvest and develop intellectual capital (methodology, assets, samples, templates etc.) for sharing and reuse.
• This program director will work with the customer leadership and the internal cross functional teams to develop a strategic view of broad skills needed and to build organizational capability to deliver the broader portfolio of products. T
• Will need to work to implement a career path framework for our TPMs including certifications.
• Additional responsibilities will also include developing and implementing strategy for scaled deployment of telecom solutions for our partners and customers.


Requirements:
• Must have at least 10-15 years Project/program management experience within a telecommunication company.
• PMP, Prince2 and ITIL certifications are very advantageous
• Must be eligible to travel across EU.
• German speaking skills are highly advantageous
• This leader should have demonstrated success in developing and implementing telecom solutions, New Product Introductions, talent development strategy for the delivery organization and experience with developing and implementing strategy for consistent communication/feedback around the same.
• Candidates for this position must have proven people, technical and business management skills with prior customer-facing experience.
• The candidate must use skills and leadership competencies for team building, partner and developing relations, negotiation, decision making, problem solving and conflict management. This individual must foster innovation by being a role model of strategic breakthrough thinking while staying on top of market trends and being very customer-centric.
• The candidate must operate fluidly across a matrixed team environment.
• This leadership role requires attention to detail balanced with the ability to set and achieve strategic goals.
• Establishes and maintains the delivery plan of record (POR)
• Previous Enterprise level experience in :
o Managing and coordinating the team deliverables through project phase (Requirements, Design, Build, Test , Deployment)
o Coordinating meetings amongst internal and external teams
o Facilitating priorities , schedules and execution of the program
o Ensuring adequate and clear communication across the program
o Managing internal and external strategic initiatives
o Driving efficiency initiatives to drive margin growth
