Project environment
A Global Swiss Bank is looking for an IT Project Manager as a part of the AAA Delivery Management team for incident- and problem management and to liaise with other teams, delivering change. This includes Wealth Management-IT, Investment Banking-IT, Group Operations-IT and vendor teams etc. In this context the term ‘liaise’ includes a level of ownership of this interaction together with the ability to take decisions and escalate areas where there is conflict. It is not required that the PM manages individual people within the 3rd party teams unless specific exceptions are agreed.

Tasks
• Liaise with all members of the AAA delivery team and Senior Project Managemers.
• Liaise with Business Stakeholders for problem resolution, problem management and prioritisation discussions, within the project scope.
• Liaise with Product Release management for standard release management processes and the platform release management for expedited or SOS release management tasks.
• Provide project and individual requirement updates where necessary to business stakeholders, and 3rd parties who may be relying on the delivery to schedule dependent activities.
• Understand and coordinate all aspects of the lifecycle of a requirement, from Requirements through the development process to testing and release management.
• Be accountable for all aspects of the delivery be it via escalation of issues within the 3rd party or directly from members of the full AAA delivery team.
• Manage the finances of the programmes aligned to the PM, and report on them periodically through the standard tools, including forecast management.
• Work together with AAA delivery management to ensure relevant resources are assigned and available where and when needed.
• Aim to develop a high level of content knowledge in order to be able to challenge estimations, assess high level impact of change, and develop a view of business impacts of L3 escalations.

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience within a similar role.
• Work experience in financial services is a must.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
• Excellent Stakeholder Management.
• German and English are necessary.
