Project Description:
Our Client recently closed an acquisition of a new part, a leading global provider of web-based trading technology, enabling clients to trade OTC financial instruments, particularly foreign exchange (FX) and short term money market products, as well as FX and interest rate derivatives. It will be the centre of competence of our clients global FX strategy. The future set-up of it within our client will be designed to maintain and further improve its innovative drive and customer focus. Key synergies of the deal comprise a new ECN-type trading venue for FX spot and potentially derivatives instruments, enhancement of the operational capabilities in FX exchange-traded derivatives and optimised distribution through it’s global sales force. Task of the project management team is to ensure the timely IT implementation of the synergy initiatives, as well as coordination of required IT integration activities on client side.

IT PMO services related to financial support
?Business Case management (Tracking and controlling of primary costs)
?Controlling of requested budget transfers and updating of business case accordingly
?Set up new and control existing PSPs; ensure appropriate number of PSPs
?Allocation and comparison of booked hours; identification of delta
?Actuals controlling
?Monthly cross-check reporting
?General Set up Support the creation of a project communication plan to define the appropriate information distribution and performance reporting tools according to the project characteristics and phase (e.g. meetings, reports etc.)
?Project / Milestone planning and tracking
?Activity, issue, change control and risk management (Support project manager to follow change request process)
?Reporting Coordination of program wide MSP reporting process
?Meeting management
?Support IT Project Management team during internal or external Audits
?Coordination of work products, work flows and structures

Qualifications:
Project management methods should be known and ideally have been used in former projects (such as PMI or IPMA). Additional requirements:
?University degree in business studies or comparable qualification
?Upper understanding of Project Management Methodologies
?Experience with budget management
?High commitment and motivation, distinct readiness to take on responsibility
?Ability to work under pressure and high degree of reliability/flexibility
?Very good communication skills, empathy and the ability to work in an international team
?Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, sound understanding of database systems (e.g. SAP), knowledge of Microsoft Project, Lotus Notes and Clarity is an advantage

Language Proficiency
?Project language is English. Thus, written and spoken German and English is required.
