As SAP FI-CO consultant you will be part of a small team within Finance Solutions Management, a center of excellence within the Group Finance function managing global platforms for internal and external financial reporting. You will act as single point of contact for group wide business stakeholders regarding end-to-end business requirements and solution design including SAP NewGL, Global Finance Hub, SAP BW reporting platform and Z-Core global ERP template. You will be expected to effectively coordinate between multiple stakeholders and drive change from concept to actual implementation, in close alignment with SAP Program implementing one common, consolidated accounting system for all Group countries.Your main responsibilities will involve:
Executing overall supervision on day-to-day provision of operations for the SAP FI-CO consultant, ensure that incidents are routed into correct channels, are tracked and corrective action are taken where necessary
Managing platform stability and availability according to service level expectations as agreed with business stakeholders from business units across the globe
Owning and managing operational change management process, preparing and chairing change management boards, working with IT release management and application support teams to develop release plans, challenging solution designs from business perspective
Reviewing existing processes and tools to improve/ streamline
Supporting reviews on application landscape to gain efficiencies and improve comfort Level
Building of a global virtual organization to support the GFC
Requirements
University degree in business administration or equivalent experience
Minimum 4-5 years’ of work experience in an international accounting environment, preferably in the insurance industry or consulting firm with sound insurance accounting background
Proven implementation and solution design experience and expert level knowledge in SAP FICO and SAP NewGL, preferably also in SAP Business Warehouse
Flexible in working style and hours, able to work well under pressure
Very good business Analysis
Strong communication skills, ability to present to senior stakeholders within and outside of Zurich Group
Fluent in English written and spoken
The job holder is expected to travel occasionally
