Project environment
A global Swiss Bank is looking for an experienced professional Business Analyst. Risk IT is a core function within the IT of the Bank and responsible for building, implementing and maintaining IT solutions to support the Risk Control function across all business areas and providing transparency, quantifying risks and ensuring we remain within the risk targets as set by the firm.
Tasks
- Timely delivery of Business Specifications, including signoff from corresponding business as well as from interface partners.
- Timely impact assessment of Change Requests with respect to the overall system (including interfaces).
- Ensuring the requirements are understood by the IT Application Delivery Team involved in implementing the required changes.
- Review of test cases as defined by both IT and Business, with respect to functional coverage.
Requirements
- Several years of business analysis experience, preferably in the area of Credit Risk
- Capability to analyse and understand business requirements and transform them into solution proposals and IT specifications fitting into the overarching systems landscape
- Structured, coordinated, documented approach to problem solving.
- Experience within a large IT organisation, delivering enterprise solutions.
- Experience with working in teams spread around the globe is of advantage.
- Background: Requirements are stated by business representatives in Switzerland as well as in the locations the platform is being rolled out to. The supply teams span multiple locations as well.
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels (business representatives, IT architects, business and developers within credit risk as well as up- and downstream)
- Fluent in both written and spoken English, German skills are of advantage
- Strong team player
