For an existing contract with one of our direct clients we are urgently looking for a

Senior Divisional IT Service Manager (m/w)

Start: 01.12.2015 / Duration: 3-6 months / Location: NRW / ProjectID: 2546

As Senior Divisional IT Service Manager (m/w) you are responsible to manage agreed Service levels (SLAs) and you will be as a link between the service consumer (business partner) and the service provider (external or internal IT) fostering business-IT-alignment and managing expectation on both ends.


Your tasks and purpose of this position

• The purpose of the Divisional IT Service Manager position is to manage agreed Service levels (SLAs), control IT service-related cost and penalty applicability. The Divisional Service Manager furthermore is responsible for the phrasing of SLAs together with the business partners and IT suppliers as well as their monitoring, escalation management, reporting and Service Level adaptation on a divisional level.
• The Divisional Service Manager thus functions as a link between the service consumer (business partner) and the service provider (external or internal IT) fostering business-IT-alignment and managing expectation on both ends. In doing so, the Divisional Service Manager ensures a common understanding of what the service requirements as well as the associated cost for that service are and addresses any deviations from these conditions.


Your profile and main accountabilities and major tasks:

• Proven background in IT Strategy
- Build and maintain relationships with the key stakeholders in the business, ensuring that the IT Strategy and service develops to meet corporate goals and objectives.
- Manage computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, programs, and schedules for business and data processing and management information meet business needs
- Implement systems to enable specifically the sales organization to drive their efficiency and success in the market.
• Proven background in Business Relationship Management
- Serve as facilitator between business and IT working networked (cross-country, cross-company, cross-divisional), identifying and utilizing synergies
- Support the business through issue resolution using the existing IT support organization
- Help Business Partners to optimize business processes and realize business benefits by improving the exploitation of IT
- Plan and execute initiatives especially divisional to achieve a high probability of success. Perform the demand qualification process closely as well as the preparation of the respective IT quality gates.
- Monitoring of business partner satisfaction regarding IT services in country by performing a business partner satisfaction survey.
- Cooperation with divisional business areas directly and via the demand organization in the following areas:
1. Technical advice during demand identification, qualification and solution identification
2. Active advice on consolidating applications and infrastructure systems at the divisional level
3. Set and manage stakeholder expectations, communicate effectively with stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
• Proven background in Governance knowledge
- Conduct steering boards for cross-BU or cross-functional programs or projects
- Undertaking the interface function between business and IT as the connecting point between the demand department and the delivery departments (ITI and ITA) within the IT via the formation of governance structures
- Ensure compliance with company policies, IT guidelines and security standards by supporting regular auditing and perform respective improvements
