Your Skills
- You are well versed in data handling/data management in general and data catalogues in particular
- You are an expert for the Alation Data Catalog
- You know how to configure, operate and further improve the Alation Data Catalog
- Good knowledge and experience in the MS Azure technology
- Good Linux know-how
- Good knowledge of English, written and spoken
- Good knowledge and experience in Databricks technology
- Experience with agile working environments (Scrum)
Your Tasks
- Continuous enhancement of the Alation Data Catalogue offering by introducing new functionalities provided by Alation
- Optimization of the setup of the Alation Data Catalog, improving the experience for catalog users
- Demand Management (Identifying "what customers need" and "generating demand through new, meaningful functionality")
- Training of (new) colleagues on Data Catalog usage
- Technical contact (expert) for the Data Catalog Product Management
- Python programming where required
