A little bit about the role
You will be responsible for the financial oversight of 40 units. This role goes beyond simple bookkeeping as you will work closely with the owner and property manager to prepare monthly financial reporting on the entities, provide customer service to the tenants, and ensure all operational aspects of the business are running smoothly.
Area of Focus:
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements on properties, including Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable
- Preparation and posting of routine and journal entries, bank reconciliations, variance reports, and other supporting documentation
- Prepare rent rolls, annual budgets, and delinquency reports
- Preparation of monthly tenant rental invoices
- Preparation and invoicing of annual tenant CAM reconciliations
- Work closely with the owner's outside CPA firm on monthly reports, IRS Tax preparations, and all other required coordination
The experience we are looking for
You have five or more years of experience in residential and commercial real estate accounting and are well versed in Buildium, Excel, Quickbooks, and triple net real estate accounting. If you have experience working for real estate investors in the same capacity, we'd love to learn more about you!

The Details:
Salary: $80,000-$130,000 commensurate with experience
Benefits: Paid time-off, sick leave, 100% coverage of medical benefits for employees
Hours: Full-time, must be willing to work 9 am - 5 pm CST M-F
