We are currently looking for a Functional Safety Expert to work on an automotive product. You will be responsible for analysing the impact of ISO 26262 on the product as well as to define the product architecture and the Technical Safety Concept.You are expected to perform safety management activities according to relevant standards during all project phases (concept, product development, production) including DFMEA, qualitative and quantitative FMEDA and SW safety analyses. Moreover, you will be developing the safety architecture and safety plans in accordance to ISO 26262, while also creating the respective functional safety documentation. Besides, you should work on the requirements for cascade safety to the subsystems and component levels in product portfolio and collaborate closely with the stakeholders. You will do reviews with the product teams to ensure the ISO 26262 functional safety standards, while supporting the implementation of functional safety process at the organization (creation and or optimization of templates, guidelines, checklists).

Experience:
• University degree in electronics, mechatronic or quality
• ISO 26262 Safety Manager in the automotive domain. Detailed knowledge and experience with ISO 26262
• Products Development Life Cycle with respect to Systems, Electrical or Software Development
• Compliance models which are relevant to the electronics development (e. g. CMMI and Automotive SPICE)
• Good technical leadership, planning and organization / control skills
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Communicate complex ideas persuasively to stakeholders and customers
• Teamwork
