We are looking for an English speaking SAP PMO Lead to assist our client in the pharmaceutical industry with an ongoing project in Switzerland. This will be a mixture of onsite and remote work which is negotiable, however, the clients preference is for as much onsite work as possible.

Program background
This is a multi-year program that will define, design, and deploy Future ERP solutions based on SAP S/4 HANA and other cloud/on-premise technology platforms. The program will enable simplified, standardized, and harmonized global business processes by leveraging SAP, Life Science Industry and best practices.
As the PMO Lead, you will be responsible to direct and manage the overarching Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure the program and all included projects meet their goals and requirements, including program and project management, control, risk, dependencies, decision and issue management. You will own the program methodology framework and guide and monitor the project teams in their execution of program and project management activities bringing in best-in-class PMO practices and ensuring consistency across the entire program. As part of the program management team you will co-own the definition and optimization of the governance framework and be accountable for the execution across all projects and its adherence.
Expected Deliverables & Outcomes:
Lead the Agile Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure the program and all included projects/Epics meet their goals and requirements.
Responsible for the operational management of the Program Management Office (ie functional, technical and organizational aspects) and conducts reviews of Risk, Issue, Assumptions, Decisions Management and Scope Management, Program Planning and Schedule Management, Status reporting incl. KPI Management, Quality assurance and control, Project Templates and Documentation Management, Methodology Management, Vendor Management ensuring consistent services across all projects under the program.
Drive, lead and ensure delivery of the program roadmap, across multiple areas, technologies and geographies, working closely with identified business and IT key stakeholders to ensure continuous business and IT alignment while minimizing impacts on the organization. Ensure all projects/Epics aspects (budget, resources, timelines, risks, issues, dependencies) are addressed using program, PMM and SAP Activate methodologies.
Establish and drive application of principles and concepts to independently address strategic business and technology initiatives and projects that are novel in their innovation and ensure organizational change is in place to adopt new approaches to strategy and delivery.
Conduct dependency checks and manage dependencies, risks and issues between projects within the program and beyond. Measure and report progress and status on all program aspects. Act as an escalation point of contact and drive resolution of escalated issues.
Develop and maintain the program integrated management plan.
Develop and ensure integrated change control (across projects) and oversee impact assessment of scope changes.
Guide and monitor project teams in their execution of project management best practices, and provide governance project oversight.
Set up and manage project and program governance structures and chairs the PMO meetings.
Support ASPIRE Leadership Team (LT) on tactical, operational and strategic program management topics and facilitates the agile ceremonies.
Skills & Experience:
10+ years of program and/or project management experience in a global enterprise delivering SAP ERP solutions or other large IT platforms, preferably in the Life Science industry.
Significant experience in strategy consulting (eg strategy design and change).
Proven track record of managing successfully large scale global transformational projects and programs.
Ability to work independently and interact effectively with global diverse and cross functional teams and at all organizational levels in a multicultural environment.
Demonstrated ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships with ability to engage resources outside of direct-control to gain consensus, meet deadlines and achieve goals and objectives. Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
Experience in presenting and negotiating effectively whilst building strong partnerships.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills are essential with the ability to communicate credibly at all levels; influence key stakeholders in a highly complex cross-functional environment and build collaborative relationships to ensure seamless program and project delivery.
Excellent leadership, management and interpersonal skills in large enterprise as well as hands-on experience in delivering complex projects using Agile methodologies (eg SAFe, project management methodology (PMM), SAP Activate or equivalent) and New Ways of Working.
Excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks independently/with minimal supervision and great attention to detail.
Prior experience with SAP Activate and SAP Solution Manager is desirable.
PMI PMP certification or equivalent desirable.
