Principal Auditor – Strategy & Change (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- In this role, you will autonomously lead audits of projects, cost & benefit cases, divisional strategies and the overarch-ing governance structures, including medium-sized audits with increased complexity. Occasionally, you will also be in charge of ad-hoc audits on board-related topics and ESG-specific processes
- You independently prepare and evaluate audit reports including findings, causes and risks, as well as presenting risks and audit results to management? You monitor and validate the closing of findings
- You confidentially coordinate all audit results and findings with your internal clients and agree on appropriate action plans to address risks
- You will actively and autonomously drive your further development, in particular on trends and developments in the topics of project management and strategy implementation
Main qualifications
- You have a university degree in business administration, economics and/or science or a comparable education
- You have an excellent understanding of business products and processes through many years of experience in the banking environment, preferably in the areas of project management, DCRO, NFRM, controlling or accounting
- You have basic knowledge of the regulatory framework of the financial industry: MaRisk, MaComp, MiFID, IFRS, etc.
- You like to pay attention to detail and preferably already have experience in a controlling function
- Ideally, you are certified in project management and / or internal auditing
- It is essential that you have strong communication skills (very good written and spoken German and English) and a passion for teamwork
