Beschreibung

We are looking for an IT Project Manager/Analyst (m/f/d) for a client project in Bonn/remote.

Task description

  • Developing project documentation
  • Developing and maintaining project plans and estimating resource requirements, coordinating tasks and inputs and supporting the work of the Project Board;
  • Executing the delivery of the work packages based on the agreed schedule and budget, adhering to the PRINCE2 project management methodology and the internal project and portfolio management framework;
  • Providing expert management of day-to-day progress and operational aspects of the project and the delivery of the project and its work packages;
  • Coordinating the day-to-day operations within the project scope, including running regular meetings with relevant staff/teams, supporting Project Board meetings and coordinating relevant activities;
  • Managing relationships with external counterparts, including service vendors and institutional partners and stakeholders;
  • Developing and maintaining communications strategy and products and ensuring timely sharing of information between various counterparts;
  • Providing regular reporting to the Project Board, other Leads, and preparing other reports as required;
  • Identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities, within the limits of authority;
  • Performing internal gate reviews, risk reviews and other control activities as planned;
  • Ensuring the quality of the different deliverables;
  • Rapidly attaining a deep and broad understanding of the mission, direction, structure, mandates and requirements of relevant business areas, building trust and managing relationships with business stakeholders;
  • Expert analysis, modelling and documentation of business processes and business requirements;
  • Analysis and documentation of conceptual data models, logical data models, and data dictionaries;
  • Business analysis of Legacy system to consider possible process optimization and modifications/re-cycling of existing capabilities and transformation spanning different departments and business domains;
  • Provision of support and advice regarding functional requirements to members of own team and other teams (including Business stakeholders, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Designers, Developers, and Testers).

Job requirements:

  • University degree in computer sciences, mathematics, engineering, or in a related discipline. Substantial professional experience in the field may be accepted in lieu of a degree in the relevant discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT Project Management, including proven experience managing the successful delivery of large and complex projects to the satisfaction of customers and end users;
  • Certification and/or expert knowledge of a recognized IT Project Management methodology (eg PRINCE2, PMI) is strongly preferred;
  • Experience in software development projects;
  • Experience in managing vendors;
  • Certification and/or expert knowledge of Agile methodologies or approaches;
  • Certification and/or expert knowledge of applying Agile methodologies or approaches at large scale (eg SAFE) is desirable;
  • At least 5 years of experience in business/system analysis, process management;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff as well as end users;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English;
  • Proven experience working in international organizations;
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize and deliver tasks on time and to produce quality results while meeting established goals;
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure;
  • Ability to generate innovative, practical solutions to challenging situations;
  • Effective participation in a team-based, information-sharing environment, through collaboration and cooperation with others;
  • Able to manage his/her own time and dependencies effectively to deliver high-quality documents per the time frames agreed and escalating issues to the responsible manager as appropriate.
