We are currently looking for an INTERIM PMO (m/w/d)start: asap
duration: 6 months+
workload: fulltime, 2 days remote/week
location: Frankfurt am Main
The PMO is the responsible person to define and maintain standards for the IT project management. The PMO
provides guidance and standards in the execution of IT projects. In addition to the theory, the PMO needs to make sure that the upcoming projects pass the
established Gate process as well as the running projects are managed in a repeatable, standardized way.
Main responsibilities/tasks:
- To manage the project portfolio by classifying and prioritizing projects based on corporate strategy
- To create PPT reports to facilitate the decision-making for the IT Project Board on a monthly basis
- To plan and optimize the use of resources at the portfolio-level and solving resource conflicts
- To increase transparency of current and planned projects through up-to-date, reliable project data
- To promote information flow and communication
- To monitor project progress and dependencies that affect resources, budgets, and schedules
- To standardize project management methods and processes
- To provide administrative and operational support for project managers and project teams
- To establish a project dashboard in Jira/Confluence while gathering data about project progress
- To track and report on financial information such as ROI and burn rates
skills:
- Excellent working level of business English (written and spoken)
- Strong commercial skills (thinking of projects but always have a view on the business)
- Ability to communicate effectively so stakeholders and suppliers
- Ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently
- Knowledge about DevOps Methodologies and their implementation is a plus
- A positive, pragmatic and optimistic approach to problem-solving
