For a renowned customer we are looking for an active full-time IT Project Portfolio Manager (m/w/d) for the Project Portfolio Management team within IT Infrastructure.This PPM team is responsible for managing the IT Project Portfolio for all IT Infrastructure projects.

Role Description (key accountabilities, activities)
The Portfolio Manager will have a dual role of also executing projects within the Portfolio as a Project Manager. In your role you will closely work with portfolio managers, executives, (senior) project managers and other members of the program management office.
The objective of the program management office is to control the IT Infra project portfolio and to manage the integration of new locations (offices) within IT Infra.
As a IT Project Portfolio Manager your focus will be to:
- Manage the IT Project Portfolio for all IT Infrastructure projects, including executing project as a project manager
- Proactively manage change control and communicate impact in portfolio scope, identify risks/issues, and devising contingency plans. Recommend management with regards to project prioritization and resource allocation
- Identify and manage Portfolio RAID, maintain project plans with milestones and critical path, control and report status , for your portfolio in the PPM tool.
- Develop and manage IT Infra projects from beginning to end, including project scope, estimate & budget , resource allocation, and project execution;
- Control the Project portfolio and the portfolio processes. Support improvements of Portfolio Management processes with the aim of standardization / automation
- Support in the annual budget planning, and monthly / annual and ad-hoc financial reports
Profil
The key areas of expertise required are:
- Strong Portfolio and Project Management experience
- Knowledgeofindustrystandards,frameworksandmethodologiesinthefieldofITgovernance
- Portfolio Management - Portfolio Planning, Capacity Planning, RAID Management, Financial Management & Portfolio Reporting
- Demand Management, Prioritisation, Balancing, Controlling and Reporting
- Stakeholders Management
- Project Management
- MS Project, MS Office applications, knowledge of PPM tools is desired
- Experience with working across international teams would be beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience with management reporting
- Fluent written and spoken English, German is an advantage
