We are looking for line consultants(m/f/d) to support us launching 14 new markets for our Client based in Berlin.In our clients team (Shopping Risk) they own a risk policy where we identify and block merchants that have high loss rates while using the one time card.
The team has a mix of analysts and engineers. The assignment will have a combination of SQL, changing rules in java and analysing data manually. The purpose of our policies is to reduce losses (from unpaid orders or fraud) by blocking merchants or group of merchants that have high losses.
When launching new markets, we start with an initial policy and optimise it along the way according to the data & losses we see. This process includes daily monitoring and analysing that would directly impact and change our policies as well as building better monitoring dashboards.
Tasks and responsibilities:
? 1- monitor daily which merchants are being blocked in each market
? 2- identify wrongly blocked merchants and unblock them
? 3- calculate (using SQL) the unpaid and fraud rates on the merchants and block anything that have high losses or look suspicious
Required Skill-set:
? 1- SQL
? 2- analysing data
? 3- basic java (or any programming languages since the changes will be in a template code)
? 4- QlikSense (or any system to create charts/monitoring )
