For our telecommunications client we are looking for a SAP Architect - S/4 HANA (m/f/d).Start: 01.09.2021
Duration: 6 months
Location: Dusseldorf / remote ; occasional travel to Munich
Language: German & English
Tasks:
* Architectural decisions & guidance (e.g. make or buy)
* Define target architecture
* Define solution architecture for specific projects
Supports with:
* Solution Workshops (split into discussion of requirements & and questions regarding architecture)
* Feedback on solution documents
* Define application configuration in S/4
* Identify and define the responsibilities, operations, attributes and relationships of data entities
* Ensure that the application design is detailed to a point where implementation can proceed.
* Responsible for Risk and Vulnerability Analysis whilst Application Development
* Consulting of our internal customers on:
* Planning: Finding, describing and justifying the technical approaches chosen for implementation
* Design: Creation, description and communication of the software architecture
* Implementation: Ensuring the correct implementation of the defined architecture
* Optimization of operating expenses through automation and standardization
* Replacement of technically obsolete components and architecture planning for the use of new components
* Advice on technical architectures for the functional expansion of the central SAP landscape as part of the global
S / 4 HANA rollout
* Further development of the technical architecture in cooperation with the relevant technology and business areas
* Development of content-related concepts and advice on the professional and technical implementation
* Communication and cooperation with the project team
Technical Skills:
* SAP Application: Knowledge of various SAP technologies (e.g. ABAP / Java Programming language, Fiori, S/4
HANA (Finance / Controlling, Procurement), SAP Modules: SAP PI / PO, RE / FX, BRIM / FI-CA)
* Good to very good knowledge of SAP applications with focus on finance, controlling, treasury and procurement
* Comprehensive knowledge in the areas of system architecture and system integration based on SAP S/4 HANA
(e.g. services, interfaces, data, processes, initiatives, requirements)
* In-depth knowledge of the architecture principles and analytical skills when setting up a SAP system landscape
* Solution Architecture and design skills: Understanding of visualization methods of software architecture (e.g.
fundamental modelling concepts from the SAP world or alternatively UML), Data Driven Design
* Extensive know-how in the field of evaluation of E2E processes of system landscapes as well as Process
harmonization and consolidation
* Understanding of SAP IT architectures as well as business and logistical processes (such as carve-out, carve-in),
incl. Cloud technologies and Micro services
Education:
* Completed engineering or natural science university degree
* Very good German and English
* SAP Activate methodology
