On behalf of our client we are looking for an all-rounder German speaking Business Intelligence (BI)/Data Warehouse (DWH) consultant/Analyst that can perform the following tasks.
Project Description:
- Record, describe, coordinate and evaluate functional & non functional requirements eg epics, user stories & tasks along with the relevant group departments
- Document collected non-functional requirements within Atlassian, Jira and Confluence
- Create technical documentation eg use cases; functional system descriptions; technical service descriptions; professional and technical interface descriptions; along with conceptional technical logic for the resulting technical implementation in Atlassian & Confluence
- Develop requirements for data & data sources based on the collected non functional requirements
- Create and extend relational data models
- Define technical ETL concepts that can bused by the dev team to implement ETL lines
- Create, coordinate & execute test cases for the technical acceptance of the developed ETL lines
- Consult, implement & conceive professional & technical requirements needed for the IT systems along with definition and development of technical implementation options
- Independent induction into new (detailed) topics as far as this is necessary to meet the above requirements
- Develop and optimize the quality assurance processes to ensure the effective usability of information & data
- Advise the product owner on stakeholder management
Mandatory Experience
- Very good knowledge and several years of experience in requirements management of complex DWH/BI projects as well as in-depth knowledge in the modelling of processes and Business Objects as well as in relational data modelling with industry-standard modelling languages (experience from at least 5 previous projects)
- Commercial experience involving the structured resolution and documentation of complex dependencies as well as in the subdivision of complex tasks into individual work packages in cross business projects for at least 8 years
- Several years of experience in the agile environment and in particular in agile requirements engineering (user journeys/EPICs/features/user stories/user story mapping) in large projects (3+ Years working with more 10+ stakeholders)
- Strong spoken and written German

- Strong ability to describe complex issues in a generally understandable, precise and complete way
- Confident appearance and very good presentation and moderation skills
- Experience in setting up a technical and professional architecture in large projects
- Basic knowledge of other BI visualization systems (eg Tableau, Qlik, Power BI)
- Customer-centric way of thinking and working (eg Design Thinking, Human Centered Design)
- Experience in setting up a knowledge management
- Good knowledge of Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
