Aufgabenbeschreibung:THE POSITION
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst / requirements Engineer (f/m/o) who will strengthen our team to drive with us the implementation of a statistical data science platform. Your primary focus will be requirements gathering for business process implementation in very close collaboration with the business representatives from the ECB.
We primarily seek to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our requirement engineering at all stages of the data and process transformation journey from design to implementation ensuring delivery in quality and time.
As member of the requirements engineering team (3-4 people) dedicated to innovation, you will have the chance to directly contribute to the future of the new statistics platform.
WHAT IS WAITING FOR YOU?
As a Senior Software Business Analyst / requirements Engineer (w/m/o) in our team, you will – drive proactive requirements -gathering, -alignments and -change in an agile set-up. Requirements need to be specified as user stories in Jira with focus on enablement of business process automation. Management of requirements (e.g., approval tracking) will be done in Jira and Confluence. On top of the above-mentioned environments, you will drive BPMN specifications in Cawemo for later process automation using Camunda. Hence, a good understanding of classical requirement gathering, and management (IREB) and agile user story specification are your bread and butter on a daily business. You are expected to take ownership of requirements gathered and support the Product Owner and the dev team to implement the respective user stories with focus on customer value.
Anforderungen:
- 4+ years working experience as a business Analyst / requirements Engineer project management, ideally with a good understanding of legacy system transformation
- Experience in regulated / public / banking industries
- Experience with some of the following topics: application development (preferably python and R stack), business process transformation, BPMN 2.0 (would be strong asset), platform renewal, UML, agile SW development; IREB- or CPRE-Certification would be an advantage
- Product Owner (PO) experience to act as stand-in; 2nd person in charge
- Large scale data transformation, solution delivery and project management experience, preferably in a professional services environment
- Data engineering and data visualization skills building robust analytical models and solutions to deliver actionable insight for business users
- Experience in building and implementing data analytics solutions using industry best practice tools, technologies, and methods paired with proven experience in solution design participation
- Experience in supporting customer transformation to agile project delivery
- Experience managing requirements analysis in agile context with the ability to scale
- Ability to build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings
- Creative problem-solving ability and sound judgment – ability to use own initiative and take responsibility for decisions
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in English (German is a plus) combined with very strong client service orientation and willingness to travel
