• Keeping data migration strategy and approach up-to-date (incl. refinements)
• Planning and steering data migration part of project incl. data cleansing / migration / enrichment
• Enriching and cleansing data so that it meets the data quality requirements defined by MDM Governance
• Coordinating and supporting the local subject matter expert for Master Data
• Defining data objects (incl. fields and attributes) and data validation rules
• Providing guidance for mapping data between global and local systems
• Planning, aligning and coordinating activities with data provider and local SME’s
• Conducting regular country follow-up calls
• Defining criteria for data cleansing according to country specific requirements
• Supports data cleansing and deduplication analysis with easy to use reports
• Ensures data cleansing and deduplication via data quality checks and thus secures high level of data quality for migration
• Ensures proper and timely execution of data migration activities
• Drives the updates of the migration templates (highlight new fields and objects)
• Performs test loads to align data format with validation rules
• Identifies and resolves issues, identifies and mitigates risks (i. e. local and global deduplication, delays in data delivery, lack of data quality, etc.)
• Ensures sandbox readiness, user set-up, migration folders and reports, test cases (creation of user stories in JIRA)
• Prepares cut-over activities plan and executes aligned with Cut-O. Manager
• Providing technical data migration specification
• Coordination of migration activities related to interface with data provider
• Analyzing the data and derive improvement proposals for business process optimization
