We are looking for a commissioning manager for our construction site in Poland as soon as possibleEnsuring that all orders allocated to him by the Technical Project Manager are completed according to schedule and within budget
Observance of safety guidelines as well as identifying and eliminating hazards
Continuation and adaption of the detailed commissioning planning together with the Lead Engineer Commissioning (performed by Lead Engineer Commissioning based on experience and the duration of the current activities)
Ensuring that the technical, supplier, quality and operating documentation are available in good time for the respective commissioning phase with regard to safe functioning of all components
Organisation of the drawing up of pre-commissioning and commissioning guidelines which are then developed in concrete form by the respective Lead Engineer Commissioning
Compilation and management of the Commissioning team (incl. staffing, safety and scheduling) together with the Lead Engineer Commissioning and the Commissioning Supervisors
Performance of company obligations assigned to him. The assumption of these obligations from the Construction Manager Site takes place after initial ignition after pickling
Coordination and monitoring of all activities on site/in the power plant during the commissioning phase (including maintenance of the corresponding reporting)
The Commissioning Manager Site must be familiar with HAZOP studies, Safety Integrity Level (SIL), classification studies and the HSE plan. Furthermore, the Commissioning Manager is to check the HSE plan and coordinate with the HSE Manager
Determination of the commissioning systems/subsystems and their interfaces in close coordination with Commissioning and Construction Managers
Acceptance of the technical handover protocol of every system/sub-system from construction or the respective supplier
Return of the pre-commissioning plan to construction so that the completion orders of the systems can be compared
Consulting with the construction team on the best possible implementation of the pre-commissioning and commissioning (e.g. functional testing or motor rotation tests)
Planning, scheduling and coordination of suppliers’ representatives required during the entire commissioning phase
Ensuring that the commissioning guidelines drawn up are observed
Support of the Project Manager in the event of claims (claim management) or design changes (as-built)
Drawing up of an internal list of items pending for commissioning matters as well as a final commissioning report
Participation in internal/external meetings deemed necessary
Support of other departments during all project phases, if required
Winding up the site
Performance and coordination of on-the-job training
Commissioning Lead/ Manager with extensive experience working with Gas & Steam Plants (CHP/ GUD)
Experience working in international environments
Experience having solely managed Project sites as a Lead
Effective communicator with multilingual skills - Fluent Polish & English is a must have. Knowledge of German is a plus
Willingness to travel and live in Poland for the entirety of the project - initial contract length of 9 Months.
