Procurement Specialist vacancy for our Basel based client in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- 3+ years of experience in the area of Purchasing, Finance, Information Technology or similar
- Expert level knowledge in IT procurement in private organizations coupled with organizational awareness
- Excellent stakeholder management, relationship building and analytical skills
- Working experience in project and administrative management
- Knowledge of Swiss market practices is an advantage
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Delivering category plan on IT software and hardware by managing the preferred vendor list for IT contracts
- Analyzing and drafting procurement plan, as well as taking care of operational aspects of contract management
- Advising business owners in sourcing options and strategies, securing the company's financial and reputational risk is managed according to the requirements of the Procurement Policy and Procedures
- Managing the ITT processes by drafting contracts, conducting negotiations with suppliers and collaborating with Legal Services and other required departments
