Role Description
• Executes Cost Management, Strategic Financial Planning and Budget preparation processes within company.
• Support financial management and planning processes for Core Technology and User Experience, resulting in highly accurate submissions including cost center detail, book page summaries and supporting analyses as required.
• Develop financial models and analytical tools to support function objectives and projects. Create, leverage and deploy financial models for own use and those of other finance staff. Document models and processes and work to creatively and continuously improve the planning process.
• Manage the monthly financial close process including identifying and resolving discrepancies in actual transactions in SAP versus planned activity.
• Develop detailed explanation for variances between actual and plan on a monthly basis for assigned functional areas.
• Works closely with company PMO and Finance partners to support project financial management and reporting needs, including analysis of project portfolio spend, burn rates, average costs, average market rates.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial analyses
• Produces financial modelling and reports in support of company strategic planning or projects.
• Research, extract, analyze and compile reports as required based upon internal and external data sources.
• Maintain repository of company financial data and KPI’s
• Carries out administrative tasks in relation to scope of duties.
