For a project at our client's site, an international insurance company based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Senior Business Analyst - Investment Accounting
In this role, you will be part of the “Business Solution Design” team within Investment Solutions. You will support the implementation of new processes, services, and systems to meet operational and regulatory requirements for new countries/business units into the investment applications/platform.
Your Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Investment Accounting experience combined with strong business analysis skills in the finance industry
- Solid working experience with any investment application/solution such as SAP FSCM
- Professional certification in Accounting with a deep understanding of IFRS, especially with IAS 39 and local GAAP
- Good knowledge about Finance and Investment instruments
- Wide IT skillset including MS Office (Visio), MS Project, MS Access is nice to have
- Well versed in project management and business analysis methodology
- Good knowledge of SAP BW-reporting is an advantage
- Proven ability to lead and work with multi-cultural project teams and facilitating workshops
- Fluent in English (written/spoken)
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, review functional and non-functional specifications for new processes and systems
- Perform Gap analysis and Feasibility
- Gather business requirements and together with the BSD Team translate them into functional design
- Support the setup of the test concept and the test preparation of test management
- Conduct and support the functional test
- Conduct and support the “User Acceptance Testing” to sign-off the new changes before promoting them into the productive system
- Provide and organize necessary user training
