Für unseren Kunden am Standort in Schwechat suchen wir zum sofortigen Start einen erfahrenen Scheduler/Planner.Einsatzort zum Teil in Schwechat, an anderen Standorten in Deutschland oder Rumänien bzw. an den Standorten der beteiligten Ingenieurbüros - je nach Phase des Projekts. Daher ist eine große Flexibilität/Reisebereitschaft erforderlich. Zum Teil und je nach Projektphase ist auch ein überwiegender Remote-Anteil möglich. Regelmäßige Projektbesprechungen vor Ort sind jedoch erforderlich. Einstieg ins Projekt ab sofort möglich. Langfristige Zusammenarbeit ist möglich und erwünscht (3-5 Jahre)
Der Auftragnehmer ist in der Projektorganisation unseres Kunden tätig und stellt die korrekte Abwicklung seitens des vom Kunden beauftragten Ingenieurbüros sicher.
Your tasks:
* Evaluate technical proposals of bidders as a key member of the technical evaluation team to ensure compliance with the tender requirements in particular performing schedule analysis, reviewing and validating man-hour allocations and resource histograms, progress measurement methodology, and compliance to planning and reporting instructions and procedures
* Perform project planning including scheduling, monitoring, forecasting, and progress reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis through various management reports
* Develop and oversee the portfolio of major capital projects
* Maintain and update the integrated resource planning system to plan the requirement of resources for assigned projects
* Monitor contractor's performance, conduct time and progress variance analysis and review/ validate contractor's progress reports to ensure performance deviation from the agreed plan is determined and reported on timely basis.
* Highlight areas of concern, and suggest corrective actions/ mitigation measures for implementation by contractor and project team.
* Conduct "what if" and schedule risk analysis when required, to anticipate unforeseen changes to the project and quantify potential impact & mitigation planning that the project obtains project controls support needed to achieve business and project goals and objectives.
* Provides functional guidance and mentoring to a team of project scheuduling planning engineers.
* Develop and maintain project master plans and schedules for all project phases and schedules levels throughout the Project Lifecycle
* Evaluate proposals of bidders for realistic delivery times and to comply with the planning and reporting instructions and procedures
* Support with establishing a process to collect actual data for future use and developing metrics and benchmarking information.
Your profile:
* University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical or business discipline
* At least 5 years of professional experience
* With about 8-10 years of work experience in construction management an university degree is not required
* Experience in planning of projects in Oil & Gas related industries includes project planning, scheduling & phasing, project control & monitoring, forecasting/trending, invoice verification, risk assessment, variations/claims analysis.
* Strong knowledge of, and the interrelationship of a good technical project scope definition, quality of the schedule and estimate, construction sequence and execution, procurement and contracting strategies, commissioning and start up
* Fundamental understanding of resource planning, productivity factors, construction workflows, mutual obstructions of workflows etc.
* Proficient user of Primavera 6
* International flexibility and willingness to travel, possibly for extended periods
* Excellent English/German communication skills, both written and oral
