Beschreibung

For our client we are looking for two Application Manager (m/w/d).

TradeFinder is the Bank’s suite of electronic applications, serving both our internal markets business and our external client base worldwide. As a real-time, interactive web platform, TradeFinder supports all three phases of the investment process: pre-trade, trade and post-trade.

Aufgabenbeschreibung: Candidate will join TradeFinder Tech team in Frankfurt and will contribute to the development and deployment tools migration as sketched in the above listed project description, including documentation, training and mentoring of existing staff in its use.

* 4 in domain of automation (Jenkins, Gradle, Ansible, Shell scripting)
* 4 in development technologies (source code management : Git, Perforce ; development processes, continuous integration)
* 4 - in at least 1 high-level programming language ( Java, Groovy, Python)
* 2-3 in Web development (Javascript, JSP/JDBC, Tomcat/Jetty)
* 3-4 in UNIX Operating system
* 2-3 in Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
* 2-3 in DBMS - Oracle prefered

Optional:
* multi-tier application design, distributed & clustered (farm) of enterprise java services & portal technology including asynchronous messaging and use of centrally managed services (service utilities like database & general hosting or container based distributed services)

* Fluent both written and spoken English and German
* Team player sharing knowledge and skills with globally distributed, multi-cultural team members
* self-motivated, hardworking with passion to learn new skills
* split of migration and new development efforts (70/30) including support and training for all SL1-3 in order to ensure transition of know-how transfer to production support and development teams for all environments.
* together with the Tech team apply operational monitoring, diagnosis with ability to assist root-cause analysis, escalation, follow-up and coordinate with involved (incl. remote) support team members the remediation in order to ensure stability.
* Preparation and delivery of relevant presentations or management information reports and general key operation procedure documentation would be expected standard
