For a permanent position at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Project Manager - Asset Management
In this role you will be responsible for coordinating, leading and managing a business project together with representatives from the business areas as well as corporate functions.
Your Qualifications:
- Solid project management background with hands-on experience in a large cross functional environments
- Proven experience of institutional financial markets; direct experience of Asset Management, both funds and investment services
- Good understanding of regulatory nature of change programs and relation of this to legal and compliance guidance
- Strong academic background and relevant project, program management qualifications
- Strong client focus and highest level of integrity and professionalism
- Able to work individually on project assessments as well as mobilizing work streams
- Excellent communicator with strong writing skills and ability to succinctly convey complex information to senior management and other stakeholders
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of the project, including project planning, execution, timing, quality, cost and early identification of potential risk and issues
- Coordinate, lead and manage business projects together with representatives from the business areas as well as corporate functions
- Provide the program manager and stakeholders with transparent, accurate and regular information regarding the program status
- Managing a small team including Subject Matter Experts, Project Officers, either directly or as part of a matrix organization, ensuring efficient use of resources – supporting with a hands-on approach where required
- Ensuring compliance with principles and standards as they relate to delivery requirements
- Embedding risk awareness by designing and operating an effective control environment, proactively identifying and raising control deficiencies and driving diligent and sustainable risk remediation
