Beschreibung

Michael Bailey Associates are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for a Leading Financial Organization in Zurich, Switzerland.

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Main responsibilities will include:
  • To work as a Project Manager within the project
  • Ensure business requirements are delivered according to planned timeframes
  • Ensure the coordination within the Finance team and IT team of functional specifications and use cases for the delivery of the business requirements
  • Obtain the buy-in of the key stakeholders of the recommended solution and control completeness of IT specifications vs. business requirements
  • Organize and coordinate the testing phase across regions and divisions (test plan, testing, defects prioritization, UAT status report)
  • Ensure the documentation and steps for deployment are in place, including user training where required


The skills required will be:
  • 10+ years of experience as Project Manager in a large scale global regulatory project
  • Excellent stakeholder management with strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Good understanding of accounting / experience of accounting projects


Desired skills:
  • Some knowledge in banking products (loans, SLB, risk models, …)
  • Degree in Finance / Accounting / IT (MBA (Finance)/CA/ICWA/CPA/ACCA)
  • Project management skills
  • SQL skills
  • MS Access skills


In-depth experience in US_GAAP and CH Banking GAAP accounting treatment
