Michael Bailey Associates are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for a Leading Financial Organization in Zurich, Switzerland.Duration: 6 Months Contract
Main responsibilities will include:
- To work as a Project Manager within the project
- Ensure business requirements are delivered according to planned timeframes
- Ensure the coordination within the Finance team and IT team of functional specifications and use cases for the delivery of the business requirements
- Obtain the buy-in of the key stakeholders of the recommended solution and control completeness of IT specifications vs. business requirements
- Organize and coordinate the testing phase across regions and divisions (test plan, testing, defects prioritization, UAT status report)
- Ensure the documentation and steps for deployment are in place, including user training where required
The skills required will be:
- 10+ years of experience as Project Manager in a large scale global regulatory project
- Excellent stakeholder management with strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills
- Good understanding of accounting / experience of accounting projects
Desired skills:
- Some knowledge in banking products (loans, SLB, risk models, …)
- Degree in Finance / Accounting / IT (MBA (Finance)/CA/ICWA/CPA/ACCA)
- Project management skills
- SQL skills
- MS Access skills
In-depth experience in US_GAAP and CH Banking GAAP accounting treatment
