2x IT Project Manager/in Infrastructure (m/w/d) ID 13100

Tasks:
You will be managing two or more technical infrastructure workstreams within a broader enterprise network refresh programme.
The role requires driving a 3rd-party provider to deliver to agreed plans, and the PM will not have direct control of technical resources.
Hands-on technical configuration work will not be required, however the ability to discuss technical issues with the provider will be beneficial.
Specific activities will include;
- in collaboration with the 3rd-party infrastructure provider, develop and maintain detailed project plans covering all aspects of workstream delivery
- produce weekly management reports detailing progress, milestones, cost to date and to completion
- produce and maintain an issue and risk register, develop mitigations for risks, and proactively escalate risks and issues where they impact the workstream
- where applicable, work with the service owner to transition new IT services into operational use and to target operating model
The role will be based in Hannover, Germany, and only candidates with the relevant EU work permits can be considered for this role.
Skills:
Mandatory
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience delivering infrastructure projects within a wider enterprise programme
- Good understanding of technical networking concepts and their application in an enterprise environment
- Practical knowledge of technical enterprise networking principles, and common issues associated with such services
- Holds a current (i.e. not lapsed) project-management accreditation (e.g. PMP or PRINCE2)
- Good technical understanding of enterprise Internet breakouts and their role in the enterprise environment
- University Bachelor’s degree
Preferred;
- Holds one or more current Technical certification in Networking technologies
- University bachelor’s degree in a technical IT-related subject
Soft-Skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Skilled in creation of high-quality documentation and presentations
- Adaptable, able to deliver and function effectively in a fluid environment with minimal supervision, while adhering to guidance from management
- Assertive, able to drive supplier performance while maintaining good working relationships
- Willingness to travel to other locations, both within Germany and internationally where required.
- Experience of working in a challenging environment where tact, diplomacy, excellent relationship management and communication skills are critical to positively influence relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to handle multiple parallel tasks and adapt to an agile culture
- Ability to raise risks and issues in a timely manner to the right people at the right time
- Ability to actively chair and run workshops to achieve results, including note-taking
- Excellent at building and influencing a wide network of stakeholders
- Strong experience working within virtual teams
- Able to produce high-quality presentation material and documentation
- Methodical approach to delivery, bias towards innovative and proactive problem-solving
- Forward-looking, able to identify and solve problems at a very early stage
