Michael Bailey Associates is currently recruiting for a Group Consolidation of Financials / Controller for an Investment Bank in ZurichStart: ASAP Duration: 6 Months
PROJECT SUMMARY:
Real Estate International is made up of approximately 70 people located in Zurich, Frankfurt, New York and Singapore. Finance International is made up of 10 people working on controlling / accounting, tax, structuring and financing, based in Zurich.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the bi-annual consolidation in IBM COGNOS and drive, co-ordinate and monitor the meeting of reporting deadlines of the group audit
- Preparing financial reports of real estate funds that will be discussed with stake holders
- Manage and oversee the statutory audits and address country-specific issues with the external auditors for the property companies in your region
- Manage VAT and Corporate Income Tax compliance of the property companies in your region with the support of local business partners/consultants
Must Have/Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of Financial Consolidation experience
- Solid financial accounting knowledge and background
- Working knowledge and experience in the use of consolidation software - IBM COGNOS
- Fluent in German
