Scientist - assay development with profound research knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- Doctorate in life sciences or Master's degree with focus on oncology or topic relevant with drug development knowledge
- Experience gained in an industrial setting is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for bridging scientific and business participants, for negotiating timelines and for effective international collaboration
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Cooperating with biomarker sample clinical managers and other internal stakeholders
- Being responsible for compliance to applicable US and international Medical Device regulations and standards
- Managing ongoing translational research support for defined programs to better understand the therapeutic mechanism of action and identify novel clinical opportunities
- Actively educating other team members on internal and external advances in the specific program or indication by keeping up with published literature and knowledge
- Contributing to the implementation and execution of the oncology practice manager strategy as well as to companion diagnostic development as needed
