Associate Scientist wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- University degree, apprenticeship or similar grade in life sciences with professionalism in cell biology and biochemistry
- 3+ years of work experience with cell-based assays and immunoassays, in an industrial setting is advantageous
- Profound background of working under GxP is ideal
- Strong communication and team skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is beneficial
Your tasks:
- Implementing bioanalytical assays to characterise biopharmaceuticals in clinical development
- Collaborating with several project teams and reporting to the laboratory head
- Developing, reviewing and executing various bioanalytical methods to assess the biological activity and purity of biopharmaceuticals
- Assisting the manufacturing process development
- Performing the release analytics of drug substances and drug products for human use under GMP
- Conducting bioanalytical methods, including target binding assays, cell-based potency assays, immunoassays and PCR-based assays
