We are recruiting for a Pharmaceutical client based in the French part of Switzerland who are advancing in the field of Oncology with a great pipeline and they are looking for a Head of Global Clinical Development who will be responsible for the clinical strategy and its execution across the entire portfolio and all phases of clinical development (Phase I - III). You will oversee at a strategic and operational level as well as provide line management function in order to build and develop a Clinical Team.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for appointing and developing of key clinical personnel through means of active talent acquisition and coaching
- Participate in the therapeutic area strategy by maintaining close cooperation with teams outside of development such as Medical Affairs and Marketing. Identify issues before they occur and come up with mitigating actions. Respond accordingly to internal and external change in clinical strategy.
- Accountable for Clinical Excellence across the portfolio by adhering to quality compliance, developing methodologies for new therapeutic and disease areas, development of methodology including dose selection for FiH studies, biomarker development and candidate selection.
- Responsible to delivering programs with strict adherence to budgets, qualities, timelines and other challenges
- Head and Present meetings to team and senior board members.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor with specialisation in Oncology with operational experience in Oncology therapeutic area.
- 7+ years experience in drug development or clinical research experience
- Proven track record of Medical/Clinical leadership and personnel management
