Business Analyst with profound Master Data Management knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- Master or Bachelor degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent
- 10+ years' experience as Business Analyst, Data Analyst or Master Data Management (MDM) Functional Specialist
- Familiar with working in a MDM team or function, knowhow of EBX MDM is advantageous
- Proficiency in SQL for Oracle/DB2 to perform data analysis, additional knowledge of Web Services like REST and SOAP is a plus
- Strong analytical, data modelling, requirements gathering, solution designing and problem-solving skills coupled with good command of MS office products
- Background in working with globally distributed teams in an agile software development environment, preferably using SCRUM methodology
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Analysing and translating Business Requirements into functional and technical specifications, covering all aspects of MDM solutions, including business processes, data models, data quality and information governance
- Communicating and collaborating with business authorities in crafting requirements and designs
- Participating in governance committees, backlog prioritization and sprint planning
- Planning and supporting the testing and rollout phases, including communicating with clients and coordinating user acceptance tests and user trainings
- Ensuring teamwork between the MDM platform engineers and business requestors
- Performing position related tasks as instructed, such as marketing presentations, conducting trainings, management reporting and administrative tasks
