- Support of software specification process based on market requirements incl. fit/gap analysis – Design new functionality and enhancements to fulfill the specified requirements – Creation of ABAP code and system setup according to the design incl. code reviews and prototyping – Preparation of manual and automated tests and execution of software tests to verify the correctness and completeness of implemented requirements – Participation in activities/meetings held onsite or virtual w/ stakeholders or colleagues – Creation of software documentation in English – Approved software requirement descriptions/documents – Approved Software Design Documents (SDD) – Error-free reviewed software as per the requirements

• Communicate confidently with integrity in difficult situations

• Show initiative and drive topics on a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency, remove impediments to enure the team’s progress

• Enthusiastic to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

• Programming knowledge in object oriented design and development (ABAP OO)

• In-depth knowledge about SAP Financials, especially tax calculation in ERP

• Strong analytical & problem solving skill

• Ability to resolve complex issues in own area of responsibility and support of other colleagues in that task

• Good understanding of development processes

• Self-motivated, open minded, resourceful, agile and pragmatic

• Bachelor degree or undergraduate studies in any of the following areas: Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Information Technology, Mathematics, or Physics

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German

• At least 6 years of professional experience in software development

• Software engineering and formal software development methodologies incl. design concepts/design patterns
