Tasks

Implementation of a daily P&L production process
Support for the implementation and the initial reporting of derivatives in a trading book
Review accounting specific differences between local GAAP and US-GAAP
Establish working relations with Business and Product Control in UK
Support the creation of quarterly local financials in the local General Ledger
Analysing respective numbers for the derivative portfolio
Establish and support quarterly FinRep reporting for the derivative / trading book section
Support trading book specific Management Reporting into Management and Supervisory Board
Support ad-hoc requests in relation to the derivative portfolio
Documentation of all processes in a technical- and a how-to- procedure


Skill-set

Experience in set-up a local GAAP based trading book reporting production process (daily P&L)
Accounting expertise for derivative products under US-GAAP / Local GAAP
Good understanding of derivatives products
Project management skills
Strong ability in Excel. Knowledge of Access desirable
Fluent in English & German
