Test Engineer Rail (m/f/d)

- Review & verification of the design documentation (system design, functional system descriptions) regarding plausible coverage of all requirements (customer, authority, operation, safety, ...)

- Creation of validation planning for new developed subsystems and design modifications taking into account test stands, simulation tools, etc.

- Review of circuit diagrams, design change documentation and validation reports

- Creation and review of specification of train and train lab type tests in all relevant operating conditions

- Collaborate in the optimization of the test scope between laboratory, train lab and train

- Creation and review of type tests documentation (test instructions and reports) for train and train lab

- Execution of functional type tests using a test case database

- Perform static and dynamic tests on train and train lab, at project location and outside

- Consolidation of the validation including evaluation of functional deficiencies

- "Defense" by argumentation of vehicle performance against external bodies
