Global Master Data Manager – Team Leader Master Data (m/f/d)
Start: ASAP
Operational Site: Greater Düsseldorf Area
Remote Component: 2 Days per Week after Onboarding
Salary Range: Up to €95,000 per year, depending on experience
Your Responsibilities:
- Active contribution to the Global Process and Master Data Governance department in Hilden, working within a dynamic international team.
- Leadership of an international team of 9 master data experts (offshore) and serving as the central point of contact for stakeholders in the area of data management and assigned data domains.
- Development and implementation of new collaboration models, along with technical and disciplinary team leadership to foster a positive, collaborative working environment.
- Acting as key contact for master data topics in various projects and independently managing cross-functional data management initiatives.
- Strengthening the professional network to promote global harmonization and optimization of business processes—particularly in the standardization of master data and the continuous improvement of the data management system.
Your Profile:
- University degree in economics, engineering, or a comparable field, combined with several years of professional experience in data management—ideally including initial leadership or project management experience focused on data structures.
- Strong understanding of business processes and data management within a manufacturing organization, as well as familiarity with commonly used data management terminology and concepts.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills paired with a structured, goal-oriented, and self-driven working style. Experience in agile project and process management is a plus.
- Proficiency in working with enterprise software (e.g. ERP systems, SAP-MDG, PIM, SFDC) and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide an international team, promote collaboration, and drive high performance. Confident in managing stakeholder relationships and influencing strategic decisions.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); German language skills are a plus.
