Beschreibung

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Software Developer to support a major defence client.
Logistics:
  1. Start Date: February
  2. Remote with occasional onsite visits - Bremen / Germany
  3. Freelance engagement
  4. Project duration: 12 months
  5. English Speaking, German is a plus.
Tasks:
  1. Development, testing, and analysis of software components based on specified architectures or designs Implementation of complex functional and non-functional requirements in stable software solutions
  2. Technical guidance of junior-level developers (1–3) Integration and commissioning of complex software subsystems
  3. Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and unit tests
  4. Analysis and evaluation of customer data and support with system testing
  5. Close coordination with system architects, project management, and test teams
Experience
  1. Completed master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
  2. Several years of experience in software development with object-oriented languages, ideally C++ Very good knowledge of software design and understanding of architecture
  3. Experience in signal processing and active and passive sonar systems is a plus
  4. Background in a military or security-critical environment is an advantage
  5. Very good written and spoken English skills Analytical, structured, and team-oriented approach to work
